Journal of Psychotherapy Integration, psikoterapi ve davranış değişikliğine yönelik tek ekol veya tek kuramlı yaklaşımların sınırlarının ötesine geçen orijinal hakemli makaleler sunar. 
Dergi, psikoterapi entegrasyonu bilgisini önemli ölçüde geliştiren ve psikoterapi entegrasyonu ile ilgili yeni veriler, teori veya klinik teknikler sunan makaleler yayınlamaktadır.
Kapsam, psikoterapi ve davranış değişikliği bilgisini psikoloji ve psikiyatrinin daha geniş alanlarındaki (örneğin, bilişsel bilimler, psikobiyoloji, sağlık psikolojisi ve sosyal psikoloji) gelişmelerle bütünleştiren makaleleri içerir.
